As fyi, I really had a great overall week. I went back to cooking more, actually packing my food in the individual containers. I struggled the week before because of my increased work load, and that caused me not to prepare. However, I have learned that I can not allow things from keeping me from doing what I need to do for ME!! No mater what, I need to eat and exercise, and the sooner I learn that this is a life style change for me the better off I will consistently be. I realized that "being busy" has always been a distraction for me; so I really need to focus prioritizing my business, and put my food as number 1 on my list. I finally get it. Thanks AMY!!!
GOB - Monday April 21: Well, today is Amy's first day back and she is still not feeling well; however, since she has been under the weather, I suspect that she has been thinking about us and planning out her exercises for us to do starting Monday. She had some intense routines planned for us. One of the items in particular included jumping on this skyscraper. Yes, I am exaggerating; however, to me if felt and looked like it was 10 stories tall. I tried, I really tried; however, I had a mental block and I just could NOT jump up on it. Amy was not happy with me at all; however, I just could not do it. From here Amy moved Cheryl and I do this other exercise that I would describe as a leaning hold, hand slide, with one leg extended, dip or swat. Well, Cheryl and I did not do well with that either. From here we went on to do some exercises that we had completed previously and we had mastered. I felt so bad after Monday's work out, as Amy was not feeling well, and we were just not responding well. I sure hope Tuesday is better for us all.
Institut DERMed - Monday April 21: I had another wonder afternoon session with Kristen; in which we did some basic inspections and cleansing. After my appointment with Kristen I went to Jenn for my Endomology Session
GOB- Tuesday April 22: Excellent workout day. The AM session was intense with the weights. I made it in for the AM and PM sessions. During the PM session I really enjoyed the Step Class with Karen. We had another awesome session. I love the music, routines and the fact that Karen really does an excellent job ensuring that her new participants get the attention/assistance that they need, as she demonstrates other moves to achieve the same thing, just in case the move is too advanced. Excellent Job Karen!!
GOB - Wed April 23:
For my AM cardio, I completed it at home. As for the PM session, Cheryl, Deena and I worked out together with Jennifer. Another intense session with the Step-Ups, Kettle Bells, Lunges and much more.
GOB Thurs April 24: I checked in with Heather early Thursday morning to ensure she is doing well. During the AM session Amy had us using some of the (Big Boy and Girl) equipment. We used lots of weights and reps. My thighs were tight when I left the gym that morning, I felt like I was walking like a real BODY BUILDER. My thighs were screaming, "YOU WENT TO WORK TODAY, Miss Kim". Awesome!!!!
That evening, I went to see my Chiropractor Dr June with the Corporate Chiropractor, and I was all better after that session.
GOB Friday April 25: Cheryl and I worked out with Fitz, and we had an excellent session. Fitz had us doing round house kicks on the standing bags. Then next lunges, the duck walk, then jumping on the step with the process increasing from 3 to 4 steps lifts under it. Then after all that jumping we shared the fear issues we had with Fitz; which he seemed to know and we told him about our poor performance on Monday, caused by this fear of falling and Cheryl and I both said, let's try it. Well, before you knew it, Cheryl and jumped up on the riser, and I then went right behind her and jumped on the riser as well. We were both so proud of ourselves, and for each other. This was another major accomplishment for us.

My thighs were killing me on Friday night/Saturday morning, to the point, that I called Cheryl on Friday evening to ask her if she was feeling the same.
GOB Saturday April 26: All the gang was there. We worked out with Jennifer; which included, Cardio, Push-ups, Dips, Lungs, Leg Extenders, and for me, I ended the sessions off with 3 sets of 15 leaning sit ups. Thanks Mary for helping me with these as I enjoy throwing the ball with these sit ups as it takes my mind off of the sit-up and makes me concentrate on catching the 25 lb ball.
Noland Suttles Saturday April 26: Todd and LiLonka, you guys need a REALLY Big round of applause as my hair looks GREAT!!! We all knew that it really looked good on Saturday; however, I want you to know that I have had 3 people come to me today (Monday April 28th), asking, "who did your hair?” Some of the comments have been:
* Your hair looks really healthy
* Your hair cut is perfect
* Your hair is sassy
Congrats to you both. The relaxer and rinse really went well.
